A devout Bhakt, enlightened Guru, and the esteemed Founder of the Braj Ras Rasik Sampradaya, was born in 1909 to Shri Lalaram Dwivedi and Shrimati Mathura Devi during a resurgence of Shri Radha Krishna's Bhakti Ras in colonized India. His academic achievements, including a Master's degree in Hindi, complemented his spiritual pursuits.
Driven by devotion, Maharaj ji prayed to Shri Banke Bihari Lal Ji (Shri Dham Vrindavan) for guidance in composing a scripture that contains all the Leelas of Shri Radha Krishna, akin to Shri Ram Charit Manas. Directed by divine inspiration, he penned "Shri Krishna Charit Manas Rasayan Mahakavya", guided by the divine influence of Goddess Radha. This Mahakavya had a profound impact which led to the recognition of Bade Maharaj ji by the Banaras Hindu Parishad, earning him the title of 'Jagadguru'.
Expanding his literary contributions, Maharaj ji authored many other scriptures like Shri Chaitanya Charitamrit, Shri Jaidev Lilamrit, Geeta Bhakti Yog Darshan and composed more than 5000 verses compiled in Saras Ras, Ramya Ras, Keli Ras, Nikunj Ras, etc. dedicated to Bhagwan Shri Radha Krishna.
Bade Maharaj ji went on to share the divine tales and experiences of Shri Radha Krishna with his blessed disciple Shri Leela Rasik ji who embarked on this journey of Prachaar. Bade Maharaj ji's teachings have guided countless souls on the path of Bhakti and continue to do so. At 96, he transcended to his eternal abode, Shri Golok Dham leaving behind a legacy of spiritual enlightenment and liberation from the cycle of birth and rebirth.
